Resilience

A buzz word in recent times that I’m sure you all have heard of. Resilience, according to the Oxford learning Dictionary is, ‘the capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.’

Why am I writing about this? Watching my daughter give birth to her first child was a masterclass in resilience. Managing on the mildest pain relief and gas and air, regulating her breathing and working with her God-created body, enabled her to withstand the contractions and to safely deliver her son.

Standing in amazement and in awe over what God had accomplished on the delivery day was nothing short of incredible!

Never will I forget, what prayer can do as we turn over everything to God and allow Him to help us through times that we did not think we could get through.

Until next time.

Love & Blessings
