A Lot Can Happen in a Week!
The saying was trending a lot on socials throughout the (as the world knows it) Easter period. However, unbeknownst to me, I only came across it once and thought how true; not realising that the same God who went through Passover - His crucifixion - resurrection - conformation - is the same God who showed up and allowed my daughter to take a massive leap of faith into the unknown!
For just under a year, my youngest daughter decided to implement a disciplined regime of financial discipline, fitness discipline, mindset discipline, work discipline and most importantly, spiritual discipline in order to realise her long-held dream and goal of relocating to Toronto, Canada. She is my daughter, but you know her as @wewhothrive.
No job.
No place to live.
No contacts.
No connections.
No family.
With her hard-earned savings, a firm resolve and a strong conviction forged by prayer and fasting, she left the UK for Canada with an airbnb booked for just ONE week!
Just before she left, I came across a social media post: ‘A lot can happen in a week.’ and shared it with her. There is nothing that God cannot do, so told her to step out in faith knowing that all of her needs were already supplied, it was just that they have not been revealed to her yet.
How am I feeling? It is a mixture of loving this adventure for her mingled with a mother’s heart of missing her child.
She left today, with all of our well wishes and prayers and we are awaiting to see what God does.
Why?
A lot can happen in a week.
